About Dilm contributors
Nathan Thompson
Nathan is currently studying math, science and computer science. His first programming experience was with Java in 2001 - Nathan chose Java to learn with because it was platform independent. In 2003, he began working with C++ and the Qt toolkit and Dilm is the main result of this.
Nathan has been running a dual booting Windows and Linux machine since 2000. He prefers Linux over Windows and all the development tools required are free in Linux. However, when writing programs he tries not to exclude either of the platforms.
Maree Cassidy
Maree has been programming with BASIC since the mid-1980s, and in Java since version 1.1. She is an experienced SAP professional, with a background of over 7 years in ABAP programming.
Despite knowing several other languages, she has never bothered to learn C++. Her role in Dilm is not a programming one - rather it is as webmaster.
